How it works?

The Language Exchange is a simple system to enable learners from all over the world to find teachers at times which suit them and in the comfort of their own homes. All lessons are delivered via the Third Party Software Skype^tm using Skypecasts^tm and only cost £7.50 per hour (we accept payments in most major currencies). On purchase of a particular lesson "slot", you will be provided a link to access the Skypecast^tm.

What are the benefits?

How many times have you attended lessons, only to have the teacher or other students turn up late? It takes you time and expense (sometimes significant expense) to be able to attend your chosen lessons. With The Language Exchange, we guarantee that lessons will start on time and, by using internet communication, your costs will be minimal (at present, nothing is charged by Skype^tm to access Skypecasts^tm). You will also be taking lessons with people from around the world and there will be the opportunity in the lesson to share contact details to allow you to build contacts for the future. What do you I need to start?

All payments are made via Paypal^tm, which is a secure and safe method of payment. Don't worry if you don't have an account, as you will have the opportunity to register once you click on the Buy Now button. In order to access a Skypecast^tm, you will need the latest version of Skype^tm installed on your machine, together with adequate playback and microphone facilities. A stable internet connection is required, as The Language Exchange will not be responsible if you cannot gain access to the internet to attend your chosen lesson.
