Terms and Conditions

General

1. All lessons are agreed to be delivered via Skype^tm or any other suitable VOIP (Voice over Internet) provider to be advised. The Language Exchange has the discretion to decide unilaterally the software used to deliver lessons (whether by its own staff or teachers working under a "teacher contract")

2. All bookings for lessons are for a specific time-period and cost 7.50 GBP (or the equivalent in local currency). These are selected by the customer and are specified with your payment reference provided by Paypal^tm. On receipt of payment, The Language Exchange will send the learner with a link to access your chosen lesson to the e-mail address specified during the payment process.

Obligations of The Language Exchange

3. In exchange for payment of £7.50, The Language Exchange will supply the learner with access to the relevant lesson using the agreed software/technology. Whilst The Language Exchange will use reasonable endeavours to identify software which will not incur the learner with additional costs, all and any further costs associated with the lesson are payable by the learner and may not be set off against the lesson booking fee.

4. The Language Exchange will deliver all lessons at the agreed time and place. The Language Exchange does not make any warranty as to the contents, subjects or topics covered within a lesson, although teachers will use reasonable endeavours to provide lessons as defined in each lesson prospectus.

5. Unless The Language Exchange is unable to deliver the lesson at the agreed time and place, The Language Exchange will not be liable to a learner for any failure of the learner's computer or of any third party software installed.

Cancellations

6. The learner is able to cancel a lesson at any time before access to the lesson is granted. The lesson is granted when the second e-mail specifying the link to gain access to the lesson is sent to the learner.
